Girls vow not to give dowry

They took the oath after Christ University Sociology Department Chairperson Pritha Dasgupta delivered a special lecture on gender related issues, organised to sensitise the girls about the fast changing trends in the society. She highlighted the importance of women empowerment through education. The Department head Prof Prema K administered the oath.
