<p>The Mangalore airport has secured OHSAS:18001-2000 certification by Giant Accreditation Board of Australia and New Zealand, Australia, on Monday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The recognition comes for the Airport’s Occupational Health and Safety Management System. <br />Mangalore Airport is the first to get the recognition in entire South India.<br /><br />Airport Director M R Vasudeva said the certification will be valid till March 10, 2015. The certification agency had visited the airport twice before conferring the certificate.</p>
