This Homeopath from Japan has great respect for Indians and their spirit of living.

Rightly, Mineo Hotta, Director of Vajikarana Consultaion Salon at Homeopathy Centre in Mitaka of Tokyo in Japan feels that Indians should never lose faith in life as they are known for their steadfast approach towards life.

Worried over the recent developments in Japan especially in the aftermath of disastrous earthquake that led to the nuclear tragedy in Fukushima, he says that every Japanese is suffering due to a sense of insecured feeling.

“The perception that sun never sets in Japan is changing because we ourselves are not sure as to what might happen the next minute. Most of the Japanese find themselves trying to get out of the clutches of the insecurity, trauma and anxiety that has gripped them post Fukushima episode,” he said adding that nuclear holocaust has left Japan in a state of shock.

Hotta visits India, particularly Udupi every year to quench his thirst of acquiring knowledge of Ayurveda and homeopathy. “I was always inclined towards studying Ayurveda since my childhood. As there were no facilities for studying Ayurveda in Japan, I went for homeopathy.

My teacher enlightened me over the bright prospects in India as ayurveda  originated in India and later spread across the world. She told me India is the land where one can acquire unlimited skills over the ancient system of medicine. Following which I paid visit to SDM College, Udyavar. I am fascinated with the kind of  information that I learn whenever I come here,” he said.

Hotto, who is fascinated by Indian culture and everything that is Indian says that Indian are of late drifting away from culture and are losing faith in life. “This  should not be allowed to happen. People should have strong faith in life”, he added.

Stating that Japanese culture is in no way different from Indian culture Hotta tells “Japanese culture is influenced by Hinduism. “Shinto” is the religion we practice in Japan in which we have many number of gods. Buddhism is also originated from India” he adds.

Japan is changing rapidly with the intense influence of modernisation. The sedentary life style have resulted in increased number of physical and psychological diseases.
Earlier people in Japan would work hard. However, these days people prefer jobs that do not demand too much of hard work.

In this backdrop homeopathy and ayurveda are very much useful and can relive people from unnecessary anxieties and also cure physical diseases, he concludes.
