Four women robbed

Two unidentified persons who came on a bike, robbed Suneetha in Jayanagar 9th block, of her chain worth Rs one lakh, when she was returning home after a walk. Tilaknagar police have registered a case.

In another incident in Jayanagar 6th block, two unknown persons robbed an elderly woman of her chain worth Rs 40,000. The incident took place when Kamalmma was returning home. The accused accosted her, threatened her at knifepoint and snatched her chain and fled.

Minutes later, in the same area, two persons, who came on a bike, robbed Devika of her gold chain worth Rs 60,000 when she was returning from a flour mill.
In a similar way, near Yediyur lake, two accused robbed Deepika, of Jayanagar, of her chain worth Rs 40,000 and fled.
