Swissotel, owned by Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, that manages 30 hotels globally, on Wednesday, announced its plans to foray into India having entered into a management contract with Bengal Ambuja Housing Development Ltd for its upcoming five star hotel on the top of a mall at New Town near here.
Swissotel Hotels & Resorts President Meinhard Huck said we’re in talks with others for an identical presence in other metros as well. Swissotel chain is currently negotiating with developers in Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad and New Delhi for expanding its presence in India Huck said. It is expected to open by January 2010.
