JOIN USAt Elecctronica India fair, it showcased several reference designs of processors and full-blown products ranging from low power lighting to efficient sound amplifying devices.
The highlight of designs on display is Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), which power distribution companies can fix at user’s end to measure the amount of power consumed.
NXP also displayed Green Chips for use in power saving solutions. The chips and the accompanying power circuits make consumer electronic products function at significantly lower power.
NXP’s energy solutions fall under three categories — power conversion solutions (from AC to DC and from DC to DC), for reduced power consumption in consumer electronic products and efficient measurement and analysis of power consumption, NXP Senior Director (Global Sales & Marketing) Ashok Chandak said.
