Chargers' coach Lehmann hopes to see better results

Last Updated 18 April 2012, 16:12 IST

Deccan Chargers might yet to have opened their account this season but coach Darren Lehmann insisted his team is playing well and hoped to see better results in the coming days.

Chargers lost close matches against Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals in their last two outings and Lehmann felt it is the last two-three overs that cost them the match. “We did not close the last two games. We should have won against Mumbai and Rajasthan Royals last night. Probably the last two-three overs cost us the win,” Lehmann said.

“We should have been two wins and one loss really. We have not register a win but we are happy the way we have played, 85-90 percent. We have a younger squad in IPL but I am impressed the way they have performed. All we can ask for is good work ethics. Hopefully, we will be able to turn around the results soon.”
