Two men on a motorcycle snatched a bag containing Rs 3 lakh from the wife of an IT engineer in Dwarka, police said. Her husband works in Afghanistan.
Anuradha Dutta, 39, of Heritage Apartment in sector 11, was waiting for an autorickshaw at 10:30 am after withdrawing Rs 3 lakh from Kotak Mahindra Bank in sector 5. After some time she got an auto and headed for home.
“While I was entering sector 11, two men on a motorcycle snatched my bag and sped away,” she said. She said she withdrew Rs 1.5 lakh from her account and rest from her husband’s account. Police have filed a case.
