For over eight decades now, Raymond has been one of the best known brands when it comes to men’s wear. Ask any young man and he will tell you that wearing any piece
of apparel from the brand makes him feel special. Called ‘Raymond Premium Apparel (RPA) SS 12 Collection’, the latest collection from the brand has a range of contemporary designs in formal wear.

The range, in short, is elegant and smart, which one can wear irrespective of the period, place or occasion. Consisting of shirts, jackets and trousers, the collection is made keeping the summer in mind.

“Even the fabrics used this time are cotton and linen, which are comfortable and easy to maintain,” says a spokesperson from the brand.

There is a vast play of colours when it comes to the shirts. Bright summer shades for a simple and relaxed feel suits the work needs of the young professionals today. “The bright colours range from bright navy blue, red to yellow and we also have
vibrant checks and striped shirt which can be paired with plain trousers,” adds the spokesperson.

An interesting aspect is that the formal wear is not restricted to just the boardroom. The collection also offers apparels that can be worn for travelling, informal occasions and outings with friends.

“The pastel linen shirts are a great option and give one a more relaxed look,” says the spokesperson. The cardinal rule is that one must get the right fit when it comes to formal wear. And keeping the heat in mind, the spokesperson also gives out a few tips for young professionals.

“It’s all about keeping it simple. When it comes to summer, nothing beats the clean white shirt as it looks good on everybody. A well-fitted shirt makes one look sharp, feel comfortable and even protect one from the soaring temperature,” says the spokesperson.

As far as accessories are concerned, one can go in for ties and belts that will
complete the look.

“Solid, plain-coloured ties give a good look. If solid isn’t your thing, try a classic diagonal stripe. Having several tie patterns in hand will ensure that you are prepared for any occasion. Ultimately, looking good is all about discovering a comfort zone,” sums up the spokesperson.
