Taluk wise pc pushed Hassan to third slot

Of eight taluks in the district that has been ranked third in SSLC results, Holenarsipura stands first at 94.48 per cent.

According to DDPI A T Chamaraj, Channarayaptna taluk is in the second slot at 91.42 pc, followed by Hassan- 90.19 pc, Arsikere- 89.34 pc, Belur- 88.87 pc, Alur- 88.83 pc, Arkalgud- 87.29 pc and Sakleshpur- 83.56 pc.Among 240 government high schools in the district, 58 have recorded 100 per cent results, while, 221 schools have scored 80 per cent.

Among t he 127 aided institutions, nine found place in 100 per cent, while 73 are in 80 pc. Among 132 aided institutions, 56 have scored 100 per cent and 102 have scored 80 per cent and abov e, the DDPI added.A total of 1,244 students have excelled in distinction, 8846 first class and 2117 second class. In the previous year, the students were lagging behind in social science. This year, for the repeated efforts of the teachers, the students have improved their scoring, recording 93.7 per cent in the particular subject.
