Nemmadi Kendra locked as employees stage stir

The Nemmadi Kendra employees across the state have started stir two days ago. The impact of the same was seen at NR Pura on Tuesday when the Kendra was locked as a part of the stir.

Due to this people have been left in lurch as getting caste and income certificate has become difficult.

SSLC results are out and both the certificates are necessary to gain admission into colleges.

The students have been left clueless in this situation. Farmers too have been facing problems because they have to come to Nemmadi Kendra for various certificates and license to avail benefits under various government schemes.

The situation has become very difficult specially because there is no alternate arrangement made to provide the caste and income certificates to the applicants.

Tahshildar Krishnamurthy has said that there is provision in the Taluk Office to provide hand written certificates but right now computer printed certificates cannot be issued.

Responding to the same MLA D N Jeevaraj said that the stir of Nemmadi Kendra workers has already created lot of problems.

The CM will be urged to solve the problems of the employees as the earliest so that the Nemmadi Kendras become functional again.
