Organisers Nishat Mohsin and Misba Umrean like to call it Festive Collezione, in an effort to stand apart from the other ‘sales’ happening in the city. Panache, which appeared on city’s fashion radar in recent years, has sure settled on good stead as far as clientele is concerned.
This time around, the city can consume high-fashion on June 9, 10 from 10 am to 8.30 pm at Hotel Regaalis, Vinoba road. The event will be inaugurated by Vinita Rashinkar, director, marketing, Windflower Resorts & Spa, Mysore.
Fashion spread, say the organisers, includes wares from 25 designers from across the country showcasing their finest creations, and collections. Clothes, jewellery, accessories and home décor come at affordable prices.
Hangers has a plethora of zardosi encrusted ensembles in rustling silk and crisp tussars, billowing organzas in crystal tones, soft silhouettes in georgettes et al. Pummy Walia’s feminine silhouettes and Madhu’s simple yet stunning cuts, exclusive ethnic collection by Anatomy from Mumbai make for a super shopping.
Simple, elegant and ethnic sarees by Krish from Hyderabad, Urban Pari and Ovia from Bangalore can be combined with Shibori from Ahmedabad.
Maheshwari cottons in muted tones is by Sui Dhaga, while Lady Grace, Labellaz from Mumbai and Design & Stylez from Chandigarh return with their very wearable prêt lines.
Sangeeta Touch and B9 studio from Mumbai bring digital prints on fabric and Kakoli Roy’s dazzling jewellery is set to be the fiery item on the list. Those who love semi-precious stones can pick them up from Sriya & Designer jewellery in gold and by Simla Zaveri.
