Albert Tauro, Chairman and MD of Vijaya Bank, while addressing the gathering, called upon the students to dream big and translate those dreams into reality. The students ought to plan, strategise and execute the same and give shape and meaning to their actions. He observed that attitude towards work, commitment, passion and one’s involvement in every aspect is necessary if one desires to excel.

He emphasised that there was no substitute for hard work and highlighted the importance of diligence, honesty, integrity and ethics, for these cannot be compromised. On the whole, one must have a positive attitude towards life and retain the spark which should be nurtured and developed, he said. Everything depends on what you have done and not on what you are and what you leave behind is 'what matters'. She later congratulated the outgoing graduates.
