<p> Miscreants attacked a cashier, who was returning home after work and made away with Rs 1.6 lakh in cash near Sattegala in Periyapatna taluk recently.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Cashier Chandrashekar of MKP Wine Shop in Panchavalli in the taluk was returning to Periyapatna with his colleagues Harish and Gowtham on a motorbike when four miscreants attacked them. <br /><br />One person first attacked the trio and the impact threw them off the bike. <br /><br />The miscreants then grabbed the cash that was being carried in the bags, threw chilli powder at the trio and fled on two motorbikes.<br /><br />Chandrashekar in his complaint to the police has said the bag consisted of Rs 1.6 lakh cash, receipts and other documents. <br /><br /></p>
