Bees attack praying crowd

A crowd of more than 250 had gathered at the Idgah maidan to offer Ramzan prayers. At around 10.30 am, attracted by the perfume used by the crowd a large batch of bees attacked the gathering.

Seven seriously injured
Seven are seriously injured and are admitted into SNR Hospital. Several injured were given first aid  at Vemagal hospital. When large number of injured arrived at the hospital, there was a shortage of medical staff and they could not be given prompt treatment  which infuriated them. Heated exchange of words occurred and later they were provided treatment and the situation was brought under control, according to eye witnesses.
