Fatwa against misuse of mosques

 In the backdrop of gutting of Sufi shrine of Dastgeer Sahib here and similar attempts on other shrines and masjids across Kashmir, Muslim scholars and separatist leaders on Sunday passed a resolution-cum-fatwa against people involved in such incidents.

 “Those who are involved in such activities (burning of shrines and masjids) are enemies of Muslims. They can’t be Muslims,” the resolution issued at the end of a seminar ‘Unity Among Muslims’ organised by pro-independence Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) here stated. Ulema and intellectuals resolved that no masjid will be used as a platform for speaking against other sect.
