Rains wash away foot bridge

Damaging of foot bridge has affected the movement of the villagers. The bridge which was 30-years-old and was connecting Bilagadde and Shanuvalli. For the convenience of the school children, the villagers have now constructed a temporary bridge using arecanut logs.
Shanuvalli GP President Jayalakshmi, Vice-President Ravichandra, member Rajumallya and others visited the spot and assured to construct the footbridge at the earliest.

The students from Hasirukodige, Hulugaru, Bilagadde, Kavali, Himbravalli, Karuvane have to cross the stream to reach their schools. The villagers have urged the authorities to construct a retaining wall to check the flood in Bagihalla.
