Nagaland minister comes calling

 A delegation from Nagaland led by the state’s Energy minister visited Bangalore on Sunday and enquired about the welfare of the N-E people.

Nagaland Energy Minister Doshehe Y Sema and Parliamentary Secretary In-charge of Social Welfare Chotisuh Sazo met Deputy Chief Minister R Ashoka. They were briefed about the measures taken by the State government to protect the interests of people of North-Eastern states living or working in Bangalore.

They thanked the State government and expressed satisfaction at the steps taken. Sema called on the people of Nagaland settled here to learn the local language, culture and mingle with Kannadigas. He also asked the Association of Nagas living in Karnataka to urge their friends who had gone home, to come back.
