London Paralympics silver medallist Girisha Hosanagara Nagarajegowda was given a cash award of Rs. 1 lakh by the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA).
Girisha won the silver in the men's high jump in the recently concluded Paralympics, where he cleared 1.74 metres.
The 24-year-old was the chief guest at the final of the Ashok Kheny ITF Bidar Open which concluded here Saturday.
