One more succumbs to H1N1 in State

 One more person has succumbed to the dreaded H1N1 influenza raising the death toll to 100 in the State and 67 in Bangalore.

A 31-year woman admitted to a private hospital on September 15, expired on October 2. Results of her swab tests arrived only on October 4 confirming her positive for H1N1 influenza. 

Meanwhile, 16 fresh cases tested positive for H1N1 influenza raising the number of positive cases to 1,086 in the State. Out of the positive cases, 11 cases were reported in Bangalore and five in Gulbarga.
