Diploma course in interior design

Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women will offer a one-year diploma course in interior design, in association with Karnataka State Open University.

The curriculum for the course, scheduled to commence on December 3, includes basics of landscaping, flooring, plumbing, acoustics, Vaastu, solar power and security systems among others.

The college will provide placements after successful completion of the course. As part of the course work, students will be encouraged to conduct seminars and exhibitions on interior design.

Classes will be conducted between 4 pm and 6 pm and the last date for submission of application forms is November 29. Applications can be procured from the office of the college in Malleswaram.
