Muzumdar becomes highest run-getter

And-hra’s Amol Muzumdar became the highest run-getter in Ranj Trophy during the course of his hundred (101) against Himachal Pradesh in a Group C match in Nadaun.

The 38-year-old, who moved to Andhra this season, started the game 68 behind Wasim Jaffer’s record of 8320 runs. He has now 8353 runs and reclaimed a record he had earlier held before Jaffer overtook him.
