JOIN USCommando Manesh, who was grievously injured in the operation to bring down the 26/11 terrorists, reacted to the hanging of Ajmal Kasab by saying that the latter has got what he deserved.
Manesh heard about Kusab’s execution while having darshan at Sabarimala temple. “No doubt, he got what he deserved,” was Masheh’s immediate reaction.
“With this, India has given a strong message to the world that, anyone who dares to challenge its sovereignty will be dealt according to the law of the land,” he said and added that justice was delayed in the case.
Manesh, who is from Kannur district, suffered head injuries in the operation to liberate the Taj Hotel from the terrorists’ clutches and was unconscious for over a year. Though he has regained his health, he is not fully recovered from the injuries, which have incapacitated him to continue in the service.
