JOIN USThe South Western Railway has decided to run express special trains to clear extra rush between Mysore-Bangalore City-Mysore (train numbers 06221/06222) — 31 services in each direction.
According to a press note, train no 06221 Mysore-Bangalore City daily express special will depart Mysore at 9.15 am from December 1 to 31 and arrive at Bangalore City station at 12.10 pm on the same day.
En route, the daily express special will arrive/depart at Pandavapura at 9.37/9.38 am; Mandya at 10.03/10.05 am; Maddur at 10.15/10.17 am; Channapatna at 10.38/10.40 am; Ramnagaram at 10.54/10.56 am; Bidadi at 11.14/11.15 am; and arrive/depart at Kengeri at 11.50/11.52 am.
In the return direction, train no 06222 Bangalore City-Mysore daily express special will depart Bangalore City at 1.40 pm from December 1 to 31 and arrive at Mysore at 5 pm on the same day.
En route, the daily express special will arrive/depart at Kengeri at 1.58/2 pm; Bidadi at 2.15/2.16 pm; Ramnagaram at 2.32/2.34 pm; Channapatna at 2.45/2.47 pm; Maddur at 3.05/3.07 pm; Mandya at 3.27/3.29 pm; and arrive/depart at Pandavapura at 3.55/3.56 pm.
The daily express special has a total of 23 coaches, consisting of two AC 2-tier coaches, two AC 3-tier coaches, 14 second class sleepers, three general second class and two second class luggage-cum-brake vans.
