Renovated CSI hospital opens

Speaking after inaugurating the casualty unit at the hospital, Industrialist Pramodh Madhvaraj said that advanced technologies should be adopted by the hospitals to keep pace with the sophisticated health care treatments in the world.
Mushrooming of nursing homes should not be a barrier for quality health care service. Quality of the treatment besides service is indeed important. The health care facilities should not be a business.

Government should give priority to the health sector and endow it with additional fund unlike the recent allocations.

A minimum of thousand crore should be earmarked for the purpose. Loans for the patients should be made available at affordable interest rates, he said.

Badagubettu Cooperative Society GM Jayakar Shetty Indrali inaugurated the new X-ray unit and Corporation Bank DGM Bhandarkar inaugurated the newly built intensive care unit at the hospital on the occasion.

CSI Karnataka Southern Diocese Bishop Rev Dr J S Sadananda presided.Lombard Memorial Hospital Deputy Director Rateesh Johnson, S B Iman, Samuel Jatanna and others were present.
