One movie per day will be screened for the general public at the Freedom Park every day from December 21 to December 27 as part of the 5th Bangalore International Film Festival (Biffes).

The screening will begin with Rajkumar’s “Bangarada Manushya.” The movie made 40 years ago has been chosen due to the impact it had on moviegoers.

Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy Chairperson and President of Biffes Committee, Tara Anooradha said: “Registration or delegate passes will not be required to attend the screening. It will be like a drive-in/amphitheatre experience. This concept is very popular during film festivals.”

A huge screen will be installed for the general public at Freedom Park. The entry is free, but there will be no seating arrangements. The public will have the option of choosing the films to be screened in the open venue, from a shortlist of 20 films put up on the Biffes website.
