<p>Shivajinagar police on Saturday arrested two persons said to be the associates of the absconding underworld operator Ravi Poojari.<br /><br /></p>.<p>On a tip-off, the police arrested the two motorcycle-borne men on Colonel Hill Road, in front of Colonel Hill School, while they were allegedly on their way to kill a rival gangster, Kavala alias Vijaya Kumar.<br /><br />The police seized a country-made revolver from the two, identified as Anand Kumar alias Antu, 32, of Kolar Gold Fields, and Madusoodan alias Madhu, 23, of Bommanahalli. <br /><br />Sources said that Anand was earlier arrested in connection with the Shabnam Developers shootout incident in Tilak Nagar. He was recently released on bail.</p>
