'Waive farm loans'

“It takes years together for the farmers to reconstruct their lives ravaged by floods.

The government should mitigate their misery by waiving off the farm loans,” said C Anjinappa, the president of Sangha district unit at a press meet here on Saturday. He said that the district unit will organise special programmes to strengthen the organisation from grassroot level.

R Venkatesh Gowda is appointed as vice-president, Kaggnahalli S Srinivas as district convener of the district unit, he disclosed.
