A cleaner of a milk van died on the spot when the vehicle turned turtle between Hirenagavalli and Maraganahalli in Gudibande police limits in the wee hours of Tuesday.
The dead is identified as Shrikanth, 19.
It is said that the driver to avoid a dog, applied sudden brakes which caused the accident.
Severely injured driver has been admitted to the government hospital in Chikkaballapur.
Gudibande police have registered a case in this regard and are investigating.
