Ghosal favourite at Invitational squash

Indian ace Saurav Ghosal will spearhead the challenge when the inaugural edition of the Bangalore Invitational squash tournament kicks off at the Karnataka Badminton Association courts from January 4 to 8.

The 2006 Asian Games bronze medalist and World No 22 will be joined by Siddarth Suchde and Harinder Sandhu while a horde of other Indian players will also participate in the Rs 5 lakh-prize money tournament.

Other players like Gaurav Nandrajog, Ravi Dixit, Vikas Jhangra, Sandeep Jhangra and Rishi Tandon will be participating. Ghosal has numerous firsts to his credit, the first Indian to be ranked Junior World No 1, the first to bag the Junior National Championship three years in a row and an Asian Games medal.
