Future Generali launches Future Freedom Plus

The plan, which can be availed by persons aged 0-65 years, allows for top-ups, partial withdrawal, switches and surrender. Further, accidental death and permanent disability benefits can also be availed as optional riders if the life assured is not a minor.

Briefing reporters, Sales & Business Development Chief Nagesh Rajanna said the plan allows customers to choose a limited or regular premium payment options on policy term ranging from 10 to 20 years, with three fund options to choose. The minimum sum assured is five times the annual premium and the minimum premium is Rs 25,000, he added.

Freedom Plus, he said, provided for long term planning, assured returns along with growth through efficient fund management and market gains, while not affecting life cover even in case of partial withdrawals.

The premium allocation charges vary from 5 per cent to 15 per cent, for the plans and tenures as also fund management from 1.10 per cent to 1.35 per cent. The company also levies policy administrative charge, switching charge, partial withdrawal charge, mortality charge and surrender charge in various percentiles.
