A complaint of “abduction” was filed on Tuesday against the Kannada film actor, ‘Duniya' Vijay, at Jigani police station by his father-in-law, Rudrappa.
According to Rudrappa, his younger son, Anand Kumar, has been missing since January 12. He claims Kumar has been abducted by Vijay, and kept in forceful detention.
In his complaint, Rudrappa said that Kumar and Vijay had visited Hindlavadi village on January 12, to fix Kumar’s marriage with a girl there. The marriage was scheduled for Monday, January 21. After making arrangements for the wedding, Kumar left with Vijay and has not been seen since.
“Not only did Kumar not return home, but he also failed to turn up for the wedding,” Rudrappa said in his complaint.
Vijay was recently in the news after approaching a City family court to file for divorce from his wife Nagaratna.
