The opposition BJP on Monday demanded an enquiry into alleged fictitious Mauritius company which holds 50 per cent share in the city’s Triton Hotel and Resorts Pvt Limited in which Rajasthan Chief minister Ashok Gehlot’s son is an associate.

Addressing a press conference in Jaipur on Monday, BJP national secretary Kirit Somaya alleged that Shivnar Holdings Pvt Ltd, with a mere post box address in Mauritius, has bought thousands of shares of Gehlot Mitra Pariwar and Ratan Kant Sharma’s Triton Hotel.

He alleged that Ratan Kant Sharma is a front man of Gehlot and the fake Mauritius Company only a front used to channel black money. The  company purchased Triton Hotel shares priced at Rs 100 each at an exorbitant price of Rs 40,000 per share which smacks of suspicion in the entire project, he said.

He said Vaibhav Gehlot, the only son of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, is having long time business association with Ratan Kant Sharma of Mallad in Mumbai, who is not known to have any independent business.
