JOIN USAddressing a news conference, artist Ganesh Somayaji said that sculptors from various parts of the State will take part in the workshop and they will be working on their piece of art on the spot on various medium like glass, iron, wood, stone, terracota etc. The programme will be inaugurated on October 26 at 10.30 am by State Shilpakala Academy former president Shamaraya Acharya while Dr H Shivananda Batanur from Hampi Kannada University Visual Art Department will be the chief guest. Alva’s Education Foundation President Dr M Mohan Alva will preside.
The valedictory programme will be held on November 5 at 4.30 pm. Karnataka Sahitha Academy President M H Krishnaiah will preside over the programme while State Shilpakala Academy Member Vittal Reddy F Chulaki and others will be present.
