Likhit century takes Friends to victory

Likhit Bannur’s unbeaten hundred powered Friends Union Cricket Club to a 107-run victory over Wilson Garden Cricket Club in the KSCA Group I, Division I, II, III (under-16) inter-club cricket tournament here. 

 Batting first, Friends Union CC were all out after posting a massive 336 in 47.1 overs with Likhit slamming an unconquered 135. 

Dheer (53), Kiran Kumar (43) and Yash (31) also contributed with useful knocks to help Friends Union set a huge target. 

Needing 337 for a win, Wilson Garden were bowled out for 129 in 33.4 overs as Friends Union’s Sanath (4/20) and Deepesh (2/4) ran through their batting order. Manish’s half-century was the only saving grace for Wilson Garden. Brief scores:
