Muthoot G George petitioned the high court on Friday listing about 18 points to support his claim that the police inquiry was mysterious and misdirected. “The inquiry is not satisfactory and the police are spreading unbelievable stories through the electronic media. These are deliberately intended to help the accused to escape the law,’’ the petition said. This is the first time that the Muthoot family has come out in the open against the gruesome murder.
