The guide had brought the foreign tourist to see Bababudangiri and with the question of a tourist, the guide had to give an apt answer and at the same time see to it that the foreigner does not carry a bad impression about India. There is only one thing in every citizen’s  mind. If foreigners who come for couple of days to see India feel so disgusted with the roads here then what about the people who have been literally putting up with this everyday.

If one comes to Market road by 8 pm, his dip in sewage water is certain as the huge man hole here which collapsed 3 months ago is till in same condition.
The authorities concerned have not bothered to pay attention to the request of several traders and local residents to repair the manhole yet. Since the street lights too work occasionally, the people have to ply on the road at their own risk.
A few minutes walk down Market road will connect to the main junction of the city-Hanumanthappa circle where the condition of the road is no better. The same scene continues from NMC hotel road to Bar Lane road.  It is hard to believe that this road was asphalted once upon a time.

With all of these issues being known to the local administration, the fact that no action has been taken so far shows the efficiency of the governing bodies.
