Somashekar Reddy who took over as the KMF chairman recently, has transferred 30 top officials of the KMF, sources said.
Reddy was appointed after the BJP government ordered a probe against KMF Managing Director I R Ramalinga Gowda for alleged irregularities in the sale of butter and ghee, which caused immense loss to the KMF.
The Co-operation department had issued an order in this regard in August.
The KMF Board in its meeting had passed a resolution that the MD should keep away from office till the probe was completed. As a result, Gowda, sources said, had not attended his office for nearly three months.
He was appointed the KMF MD about two and a half years ago by the then Chairman H D Revanna.
