Four staff members of KC General have been suspended on the charge of medical negligence leading to the death of 25-year-old woman, Rajeshwari.
Bhagyalakshmi (laboratory technician), Lalitha (nurse), Dr Suresh and Dr Renuka.
Speaking at an event on Friday, Health Minister U T Khader said the Health Department got a bad name on account of the negligence of the hospital staff members.
The announcement came after the family members of the woman alleged that the lab technician was responsible for providing B+ ve blood instead of O+ve, leading to the death of the patient.
