The members of Karnataka State Government Employees’ Association have submitted their wish list to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah with an appeal to include them in the budget.
The demands include enforcement of Transfer Act thereby banning frequent transfers within the government agencies, bridging the gap between the pay scales of State and Central government employees, filling up one lakh vacancies in the government and effective implementation of Jyothi Sanjeevani Health Scheme. “We met the chief minister in June and are hopeful that our demands will be met in the coming budget,” said Association President, L Byrappa.
