Nissan introduces entry-level diesel variant of hatchback Micra

Following the successful commercial launch of the premium ‘new Micra’ compact hatchback range, Nissan recently announced the launch of the new diesel-powered Micra XE variant.

With this new diesel entry variant, Nissan now broadbases it is offering to 12 variants of Micra in India, giving customers an extensive choice. Sales of the new diesel-powered Micra entry level variant has commenced this month.

The entry level Micra XE is based on the popular fourth generation city car with major redesigned exteriors, refreshed premium interiors and exhaustive list of advanced user friendly features adding to the dynamic new look.

The Micra XE offers good value with sporty exterior styling along with affordable price, spacious interiors and good fuel efficiency. The diesel-powered Micra XE variant comes with fuel economy of 23.08 kmpl (certified by ARAI). The Micra XE shall be available in a range of six colours: Olive Green (new), Turquoise Blue (new), Blade Silver, Storm White, Onyx Black and Brick Red. The car is priced most competitively priced in its segment providing a complete package of features, performance, drivability and comfort.

The New Micra makes an aggressive statement with the redesigned front and rear. The overall length of the car is 3825 mm. The car has a sculpted bonnet and front bumper with signature V-shaped chrome grille. The rear too has a redesigned bumper similar to the New Micra variants line up with a lip finisher and bright lamps as well as high mounted LED stop lamp.

Major features in the Micra Diesel XE are Chrome Plated Radiator Grille, Tilt Steering and Drive computer. The overall ambience premium and comfortable offering excellent legroom and headroom to accommodate five adults comfortably. The other comfort and convenience features include Power steering, Tachometer, Drive Computer and Manual A/C. These features have been incorporated in the entry level diesel Micra variant based on the customer feedback, highlighting Nissan’s strong commitment towards customer satisfaction.
