<p>KPCC President G Parameshwara has said that he has cordial relationship with the Chief Minister and they should be allowed to function as they are. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Speaking to mediapersons on the sidelines of a programme, he said “we do not have any differences which can not be solved. We have fought unitedly for the victory of the Congress in Assembly polls. There is no differences of opinion among the district level leaders. MLC Motamma had taken part in working committee meeting.” <br /><br />He said that Chief Minister has clarified that Minister Santhosh Lad will not be dropped from the Cabinet. <br /><br />“S R Hiremath has not submitted documents pertaining to allegations against Lad either to the CM or to me. <br /><br />The State government has decided to hand over the illegal mining to the CBI to probe. The guilty will not be spared,” he said. <br /><br />Later speaking after inaugurating ‘Spandana’ programme organised at the DCC office on Tuesday, the KPCC president said “on the direction of the AICC, I have been touring districts to organise the party at the grass roots level.” <br /><br />The meetings aimed at sorting out the difference of opinion among the party workers and create an awareness among them on the achievements of the government.<br /><br />“The programme intends to give an opportunity for the party leaders and workers for an open discussion and settle the difference of opinion. All the party workers should work for the victory of the Congress in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls,” he said. <br /><br />“The government will have to work towards fulfilling the promises made during the Assembly elections. Promises should not be broken. About 65 programmes mentioned in the manifesto have been implemented by the Chief Minister. The promises will be fulfilled in a phased manner,” he said. <br /><br />With the Congress winning Udupi-Chikmagalur bypoll last year, there was change in wave in the State. <br /><br />He appealed to the party workers to work towards the victory of Jayaprakash Hegde in the election. DCC President M L Murthy said that Nithya Spandana programme will be taken to the block level. <br /><br />AICC secretary Selvakumar, leaders Venugopal, KPCC vice president B L Shankar, Minister for Youth Services and Sports Abhayachandra Jain, MP Jayaprakash Hegde, MLC Gayathri Shanthe Gowda and others were present. <br /></p>
