'Rise in train traffic reason for trains' delay'

Speaking to presspersons here, Jilla Railway Prayanikara Sangha President said the traffic is more in the present track. The movement of new trains can not be undertaken. The decision on new trains will be taken only after the doubling of the line is complete.

To a query on lack of basic facilities at Kadur-Birur railway station and upgradation of railway station, he said after the work on doubling of the line is complete, new building will be constructed and all the basic facilities will be provided.  

He said Janata Ticket Booking Service will be started in Kadur-Birur at the earliest.
