Misuse of funds: Action against NGOs

He participated in the progress review meeting of the department, on Sunday, at the office of the Deputy Commissioner.

There are allegations of gross misappropriation of funds by the NGOs. Appropriate action will be initiated against NGOs, if the allegations are proved right,  Srinicasachary added.
He expressed his dissatisfaction over the non-presentation of a consolidated report on the development in the district. Jalasamvardhane Yojana Sangha officer Munegowda was taken to task in this regard.

On December 21, a meeting will be held to discuss the progressive review meeting held today.

By then a consolidated report on the progress of the watershed development needs to be submitted, he urged.
