Geetha should be part of life: Seer

Speaking on the occasion, Education Minister Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri said that the state government is determined to lend all support to Bhagvadgeetha abhiyan without any obstructions caused for ongoing educational activities. Youth and students should recite the ‘shlokas’ of Geetha to get acquainted with disciplined life style besides having productive future. Attempts should be made to create an awareness among youth regarding the rich culture and tradition of the country, he added.

“A society without corruption and dishonesty is possible only through every individual absorbing the messages delivered by Lord Krishna in Bhagvadgeetha in his day today life. Bhagvadgeetha should be part of life. The narratives of Bhagvadgeetha can play a crucial role in developing a society clubbed with spiritual and societal concerns,” said Pejawar math seer Sri Vishweshatheertha Sripada in his inaugural address.

Sonda Swarnavalli Mahasamsthana seer Sri Gangadharendra Sarswathi Swami, Paryaya Putthige math seer Suguinedratheertha Sripada, Bheemanakatte Sri Bhimasethu Munivrinda math seer Raghumanyatheertha Sripada, Hangarakatte Balekudru math seer Narsimhashrama Swami, Katpadi Anegundi Samsthaana seer Kalahasthendra Sarswathi Swami, Hattiyangadi Vinayaka Temple Dharmadharshi Ramachandra Bhat, Ambalpadi Janardhana Mahakali Temple Dharmadharshi Dr N Vijaya Ballal and others were present.
