A college campus is a great place to look for trends in fashion, unique hairstyles and funky accessories. Metrolife spotted some students with their own style statements to make.

Michelle Maria Rai

A sixth-semester BSc biotechnology student of Presidency College, combined a top by Zara with pants by ONLY and threw in a belt from Lifestyle and Neel heels. Formal and vibrant describe her look best.

I like to go for semi-causal looks in college – something that I’m comfortable wearing to
college and is also appropriate while hanging out with friends for a coffee. I’ve tied my hair in a high ponytail to complete the look.

Rochelle Stephens

A final-year student of Jyoti Nivas College, opted for a Forever New top under a Zara sweater with a pair of denims from Zara. She teamed this with shoes from Catwalk, a belt from Van Heusen and a chain from Accesorize, making for a very pretty but classy outfit.

The reason why I love this outfit is because not only is it comfortable but is an extremely easy and classy look to throw on. The sweater is really comfortable and gives the look an edge. Even if I remove it, the look remains casual but edgy. I also love the blend of colours as it complements my skin tone and gives a toned-down look.

This look can be worn on a day-to-day basis, whether to work, college or an outing with friends.
