“The foremost thing is the proliferation of smartphones,” said Endeavour CEO & Co-founder Avinash Misra at a round table on Friday.
“It is easier to get phones that can run rich and sophisticated applications for less than Rs 10,000. The high-speed data access is bound to increase with the availability of 3G network. Enterprises, especially banking and health care sectors, now see the value of doing things like transactions and disease management through mobile. All this means India would witness rapid adoption of mobile applications soon,” he added.
