JOIN USA 45-year-old man was beaten to death by his relative in Yelachenahalli, Kanakapura Road on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Bairoji Rao alias Shankar Rao (35), a resident of Ganigarapalya.
The incident occurred when Bairoji Rao, an electrician, had gone to his sister's house in Yelachenahalli. But, his sister was not at home and Raghavendra, a relative of Bairoji, was alone at home and asked Bairoji Rao to accompany him for a drink.
After they consumed alcohol, they started talking ill about each other and got into a verbal duel.
Raghavendra ended up beating Bairoji Rao to death, said the police. A case has been registered at the Kumaraswamy Layout police station. Police are on the lookout for Raghavendra who has been absconding since the incident, added police.
