Villagers assualt bank former chief

The villagers blocked Manohar who was arriving for the monthly meeting of the Bank Directors and urged that he should be sacked for he was responsible for the shifting of the office from Kuduvalli to Vastare.

The locals said the villagers went for this extreme as they were enraged by the delay in re-shifting the office from Vastare to Kuduvalli again as per a court direction.

Some decided to stage a  protest there, but they dropped it after a compromise led by the other directors of the bank and the village leaders. The bank assured of shifting the bank’s head office within two days.
