New transfer policy for teachers from next yr

Speaking to reporters in Bangalore, Kageri said there have been suggestions that the government should relax the rule that stipulates that new recruits should serve in the same school for five years. “The final policy will be announced early next year,” he said.

Kageri added about 500 aided junior colleges have been directed to improve their infrastructure by the next academic year, failing which, action would be initiated against the college.
